A Look Back at 2014

Reviewing images I have taken this year puts me in a bit of a sentimental mood as I’m reminded how blessed I am to have such great clients! I could not have fathomed such a wonderful first full wedding season after relocating to Charlotte, North Carolina from Louisville, Kentucky. The Lord has truly blessed me.

I’m thankful for the photographers I’ve worked alongside this year and learned so much from. I’m thankful for my first (and hopefully not last) wedding at The Biltmore, my first beach wedding (living so close has its perks!), making new friends, meeting lots of great vendors and making s0 many fun memories. I can’t thank you enough for trusting me with your special day and special season in your life!

I’m also so very thankful for a husband who is patient in allowing me to do what I love. I couldn’t have done this year without you babe!

John & Lori – Charlotte, North Carolina Wedding

After meeting John and Lori, I knew their wedding was going to be a fun celebration, filled with much love for the two of them. Their family and friends gathered on a beautiful Saturday afternoon at the quaint Asbury Grove Park just north of downtown Charlotte. Thank you John and Lori for allowing me to capture your beautiful wedding! Wishing you both, a life filled with much joy.
The most dapper ring bearer!

Tyson & Whitney – Charlotte, North Carolina Wedding

DSC_4198I can’t say enough nice things about Tyson and Whitney. I photographed Whitney’s bridal portraits a while back. You can see them here. The day I was supposed to deliver her pictures, I failed to hear my alarm clock and woke up at the time I was scheduled to meet Tyson and Whitney for coffee. They were so understanding and gracious enough to meet me once I got ready. We talked for several hours getting to know each other and hearing all about their wedding. I left feeling like I had made new best friends and since have set double alarm clocks to ensure sleeping through the first one wouldn’t happen again (so embarrassing)!

From start to finish their wedding day was a joy. Congratulations Tyson and Whitney on embarking in the next season of your life together!! Wishing you both many years of happiness.
